Who issues the apostille
The Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs handles apostilles on Belarusian criminal record certificates. During the quote review, we check which certificate has been issued and whether it fits your stated purpose. An apostille authenticates the signature and seal; it does not change the certificate’s contents or issue date. Please provide the receiving institution’s requirements along with the certificate details, rather than simply asking for a stamp for use abroad.
Where the document may be needed
A criminal record certificate may be required for employment, residence or another official procedure. The receiving organisation sets the precise document requirements. Tell us the country — Poland, Germany or Lithuania — and the purpose of your request. Someone else’s experience may not match your situation, so we first clarify the actual requirements. If the institution has specified how recently the certificate must have been issued, include that rule and your intended submission date.
Do you need a sworn translation?
A sworn translation can be included through our partner. We need to know the required language and the recipient’s instructions before arranging it: a translation accepted for one procedure may not suit another. If both the certificate and its apostille need translating, we include both in the planned scope. Tell us whether you need a paper translation and where it should be delivered. The final scope is agreed before payment.
If the original is old or lost
If you do not have the certificate or it has been lost, we can assess obtaining a new one together with the apostille. This is a separate stage in the quote. For an existing certificate, both its condition and its issue date matter when checking the recipient’s requirements. A damaged or laminated copy needs a photo review first. We confirm whether it can be used or needs replacing after reviewing the actual document.
Processing and delivery times
The agreed apostille service normally takes 7–14 business days, or 5 business days for urgent processing. Obtaining a new certificate, translation and delivery can affect the overall schedule. We separate those stages in the quote so you can see when to expect the scan and the original. Standard courier delivery usually takes an additional 2–5 business days. Choose urgency in the questionnaire before sending your request.
What to prepare for a quote
Prepare the destination country, the certificate’s purpose and your deadline for the initial enquiry. If you already have the document, you can attach a photo or PDF up to 10 MB. Avoid adding unrelated third-party information to a preliminary request: the document and the recipient’s requirements are sufficient for the first discussion. Enter your name, phone and contact channel. Your manager will review the details and explain the scope and cost before payment arrangements.
